Sorry for the typing and spelling but in a rush ![]() She had hers drained and left open to heal and she hasnt had any other problems since. I dont mean to scare people with this but i thought it would help people to know, on the other side a friend of mine ( also in the Army - i think its wearing heavy trousers all the time?) had a cyst. She has been given a futher 2 couses of antibiotics which havnt worked and has now been told the cyst is infected with E coli and she needs it digging out to remove the deeply infected tissue. The pus in it builds up every few weeks and bursts which makes her feel quite ill. She now STILL has the cyst that causes her considerable pain. In Aug last year she went into hospital to have the cyst drained and the infection cut out, it was an over night stay and she said the proceedure wasnt painfull, HOWEVER the doctors sewed up the wound instead of packing it out so it could drain. At first she said it didnt hurt but after 3 months it became so painfull she actually had to be sent home to get it sorted. She put up with it for about 3 months before getting help and in that time had 2 course of antibiotics that didnt clear it up. I have not had 1 my self but my twin sister has one now- she got hers from not being able to take care of herself properly in Afganistan. ![]()
